Vol. 3 -- May 29, 2015

Congratulations

Los Angeles Community College District

on winning a

$15 Million CA Career Pathways Trust Grant

As one of their partners, LA n Sync is proudto have provided a letter of support

The  California Career Pathways Trust (CCPT) program, the largest program of its kind in the nation, provides nearly $500 million in career tech grants over a two-year period.

Many thanks to the...

Weingart Foundation

for their generous donation to the

LA n SyncStrategic Response Fund

The LA n Sync Strategic Response Fund (SRF) is a pooled fund created to provide matching commitments for LA n Sync-supported grant applications. With a minimum contribution of $5,000, individuals, small and mid-sized foundations, and larger-asset foundations all have the opportunity to leverage millions of dollars in federal and state funding for Greater Los Angeles!

LA n Sync in the Inland Empire

Ellah Ronen, pictured above with Vici Nagel, President & CEO of the Academy for Grassroots Organizations, presented at San Bernardino Valley College at their Developing a Regional Initiative to Pursue & Win Major Funding conference.

The Inland Empire is looking to see how they might incorporate elements of Sync in their region in order to become more collaborative and bring in more resources.
